Saute onion, celery, and carrots in butter/oil. Add garlic. Cook until soft.
Salt and pepper. 2-3 teaspoons of Italian seasoning if desired.
Add diced tomatoes. Heat until simmering.
Add frozen veggies now. Heat until simmering. More salt and pepper as needed.
Add marinara (or your favorite sauce) and broth. Heat until simmering.
Add fresh diced zucchini?, spinach? (fresh or thawed), kidney beans, and precooked pasta of your choice. Heat over low heat until simmering (@15-20 minutes ).
