Directions:
Heat water, sugar and vinegar in a small sauce pan over high heat. Stir until sugar is completely dissolved. Remove from heat and allow to cool. Put sliced cucumbers and onions in a large glass jar. pour pickling liquid over cucumbers and onions. Store in the refrigerator for up to six months.

Ingredients:
  • 120.0 ml White sugar
  • 120.0 ml Water
  • 30.0 ml Japanese vinegar
  • 30.0 ml White vinegar
  • 1.0 each Japanese cucumber (sliced)
  • 0.25 each Red onion (sliced into thin wedges)
